United Women in Faith (formerly known as United Methodist Women) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freeedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in local and global ministries of the church.
Mission initiatives and priorities:
The Circle of Hope and Joy is a monthly gathering of all women. The Circle meets the second Wednesday of every month (except for July and August). During the Circle, we gather to share fellowship; particpate in a planned presentation; and discuss how to meet the goals of our outreach missions. All our missions have a focus of children, youth, and women.
All women are welcome. The Circle is open to all women, including those that are not a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. If you are unable to attend each meeting, that’s ok. Join in as you can. You are also welcome to assist in any (or all) outreach missions.
