Youth

Aldersgate United Methodist Church Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry consists of a group of teens from 6th grade up through 12th grade who meet on Wednesdays, Sunday mornings, and Sunday evenings to study about being good Christians, to worship, to participate in community service projects, and to fellowship together.

Sundays

Sunday School:  We will begin meeting from 9:00 am until 9:40 am for Bible Study in June.  The Senior High Class and the Middle School Class meet in the Epworth Building. Sunday Night Youth:  We will resume Sunday night activities this fall  and will meet from 5:00-6:30.   Sunday Night Youth is a time when youth get together to share a snack, some fun, and other activities that build Christian character. We focus our activities around the four topics of fellowship and fun, service, worship, and study.

Please contact LouAnne Davis if you would like to be included in the emails that announce these activities. [email protected]   Worship Aldersgate UMC invites family members of all ages to our Sunday worship services so that children, youth, and adults can share in their faith journey. We encourage youth to participate in the worship service. Youth can be readers, make announcements, lead prayers, and provide special music. The Youth Group leads a worship service at least one time a year.

Wednesdays

On Wednesdays beginning in June, the Youth will meet to participate in a variety of activities.   This activity is for youth in 6th grade up to 12th grade. You may contact Lou Anne Davis if you are interested in more information. [email protected]
